40 Acres-lyrics Most Christians will recognize this song as the parable of the Prodigal Son told by Jesus in Luke 15:11-32 told from the younger son's point of view. Please note I took some liberty with the lyrics as far as how long he was gone and even how large the farm was he worked upon, but hopefully the love of the Father comes through loud and clear.
Not Here Not Now-lyrics This song is about temptation and not going back to the habits of sin. Although sin is alluring, the way it makes you feel is not worth it. This song is a reminder of the tragic end result of indulgence.
One Moment Away-lyrics I wrote this as a song I imagined God sing to someone who was willfully avoiding Him. If that person is you, soften your heart and you will never regret it!
We Could Believe In Love-lyrics Many of us marry our high school sweethearts and then grow apart. I would like to encourage anyone in that position whose marriage is not affected by abuse or adultry to pray God restores the love you once had. You may just fall in love all over again!

Holy Revolution-lyrics This was my "Rocky" song. In every Rocky movie I have seen, there is a workout sequence where he becomes strong and ready for battle. With this in mind, I imagined the transformation that takes place when you become saved and start to realize your authority as a believer. Surely you become Satan's worse nightmare!
Unconditionally-lyrics In some other religions, you earn your way up the spiritual ladder. In Christianity, you get it all the moment you accept Christ as Lord of your life. You can never earn God's love, you have it even before you love Him. West Virginia-lyrics This song is about the land I grew up in and still deeply love. The song came out so pure I felt I had to include it on this album. I hope after listening to it you will agree.
Hold My Beer And Watch This-lyrics This song could just as easily be called, "What's a song title like this doing on a Christian album???". Well, very few people like being preached at, but most will listen to a morality tale. The song itself is about when drunk meets stupid. My mother is an emergency room nurse who has seen the end result of that meeting many times over. Hopefully, at some point, the mention of the song will prevent some drunk kid from doing something dangerous.
